Want a deep dive article for @angular/benchpress package

Hi Comunity,

I am looking for some great articles about @angular/benchpress. Unfortunately, I am not able to find any deep-dive articles about this. Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you for your request, @gauravsoni119

I don’t think there’s a lot of experience using Angular Benchpress outside of Google. I have asked the inDepth authors whether anyone has any relevant experience or wants to lean and write about it.

There is a public repository using it by Giancarlo Buomprisco

@LayZee Thanks for sharing the repository. It will help me. I am also looking into the real usecase of this package. For example, the runner from @angualr/benchpress will generate some reports. But I am not sure how to use these reports. So far what I have found something like below.
https://rhysd.github.io/github-action-benchmark/dev/bench/

It’s not releated to angular/benchpress. But it will show what we can do with reports. Something like comparing the previous and current report and do some commit in repo to give performance metrics or show the graphs that represent how the performance is going over the past commits.
These kind of things are neither available in angular docs(in that readme file) not there are some good articles about this. I hope in future we will get some good articles about this.

An Angular GDE or Google developer relations could help you locate someone with the appropriate knowledge if you’re looking into contributing to the community by covering this.

I have asked around and Alex Rickabaugh on the Angular team is the person you want to get in touch with.

Not sure how to get in touch with him. Should I create a ticket on github(Angular) for this in order to get help?

No, they don’t accept support requests as GitHub tickets :frowning: Get in touch with Angular GDE Santosh Yadav on Twitter and he can help you figure it out: https://twitter.com/SantoshYadavDev
